Welcome to Ballard Little League!

Ballard Little League Baseball and Softball is a non-profit, volunteer-based organization which exists "to promote, develop, supervise, and voluntarily assist in all lawful ways the interest of those who participate in Little League." We want to encourage the children of Ballard to join and enjoy baseball and softball in their own community.

Calling All Coaches and Umpires!!

It's hard to believe, but the season is almost here. Assessments, particularly, are right here! In order to be on the field with kids to participate in assessments, you MUST submit the background check from Little League International, and a membership form for our Ballard Little League. Forms may be submitted to League President, Patty Lott. Get the forms here:

Update:  Revised Schedule for 10-14 Year Old Baseball Assessments

10-12 year-old assessments have been scheduled for Saturday, February 6, 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM at Loyal Heights Community Center.

13-14 year-old assessments will be Saturday, February 13, 11:00 AM - 1: 00 PM at Loyal Heights Community Center.

If players are unable to make the scheduled assessment, contact David Brandt or Patty Lott.

Mitt Bank and Shoe Bank Now Open

This year we are offering a mitt bank in addition to a shoe bank. Drop off your used cleats or mitt, or come by and look through the collection if you need one. Batting gloves are OK. No helmets or bats, please!

Spice Softball Clinic on February 28

Seattle Spice Softball Club is offering a FREE softball clinic at McClure Middle School for those who want to get a jump on the season. Take a look at the flyer for more information.

The next board meeting will be on Monday, February 22, from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM in the basement of the Ballard First Lutheran Church (corner of NW 65th Street and 20th Avenue NW. (Map) Use the entrance on from 20th Avenue NW.
