BALLARD LITTLE LEAGUE JAMBOREE
BALLARD LITTLE LEAGUE
Hello Ballard Little League Supporters!
We are very excited as we get ready for the 2014 season which will celebrate 60 years of Little League baseball and softball in Ballard! As one of the oldest Little Leagues in the state of Washington, we are very proud of our legacy. Our alumni tell us that some of their fondest memories are of playing ball at Gilman, or winning the League championship, or learning to slide on a warm spring day. We're proud that our players not only go on to play more ball in their lives, but that they also go on to lead productive and happy lives and we hope they take some of the lessons they learn on the ball field with them.
Please consider a donation to the League. Our registration and sponsor fees and basic fundraisers cover only about 2/3 of the cost of supporting our teams. Last season, we fielded 28 teams, and hope to field 32 in 2014. For each new team, it costs the league about $2300 and the income is about $1760. This leaves a hole in the budget and we hope everyone who reads this note will click on the DONATE NOW button in the upper right of this page and donate generously to Ballard Little League.
Thanks for your support!
